自分の(じぶんの)唾(つば)

Remembering that 'centipedes are weak to human saliva', Toda put his own saliva on the tip of the third and last arrow and shot it. The arrow successfully pierced the centipede between the eyes, and the centipede died. Since the grateful Dragon King gave him a 'rice bale' (Tawara) that never ran out no matter how much was used, he came to be called 'Tawara Toda'.
