現金 / 貯金

この店(みせ)はクレジットカードが使(つか)えないので、支払(しはら)いは「現金」でお願(ねが)いします。

「現金」 (genkin) refers to cash, meaning money in the form of banknotes and coins. It's used for direct payment, in contrast to credit cards, digital payments, or checks. You often hear phrases like 「現金で支払う (genkin de shiharau)」 (to pay in cash) or 「現金を持っている (genkin o motte iru)」 (to have cash on hand).

「現金」は、紙幣や硬貨など、手元にあるお金のことです。クレジットカードや電子マネーなどではない、直接的な支払いに使います。「現金で払う」という形で使います。
