「着々（と）」は、物事が計画通りに、一歩一歩確実に進んでいる様子を表します。「次々（と）」や「続々（と）」は物事が間を置かずに起こる様子、「どんどん」は勢いよく進む様子ですが、「計画通り」というニュアンスには「着々」が最も適しています。
