Upon going to the capital, Kintaro was given the name 'Sakata no Kintoki' and became one of Yorimitsu's four guardians. Alongside Watanabe no Tsuna and others, he played an active role in slaying the ogres of Mount Oeyama, becoming a famous strong warrior known throughout Japan.
