'The Restaurant of Many Orders' is a masterpiece of short fairy tales written by Kenji Miyazawa in the Taisho period, depicting the arrogance of civilized society and the eerie counterattack of nature with black humor. Two young gentlemen from Tokyo, dressed like British soldiers, were hunting with their hounds deep in the mountains, but they got lost, shivering with hunger and cold as the mountain turned wild and their dogs suddenly died. At that moment, they discovered a grand Western-style mansion with a sign saying 'Western Restaurant: Wildcat House' (Yamaneko-ken) deep in the dense forest.
