八月(はちがつ)

八月 (hachigatsu) means August. This is the eighth month of the year in Japan. To say months, you add 月 (gatsu) to the number. Example: 私の誕生日は八月です。(My birthday is in August.)

八月は「8月」のことです。一年の月の言い方です。例：八月は夏休みです。
