七十歳(ななじゅっさい)

Long ago, in the province of Shinano, there was a land with a cruel law: 'Old people who reach seventy years of age must be abandoned in the mountains.' A filial young man, when his mother turned seventy, carried her on his back up the mountain with deep sorrow.
