When Genzaemon rushed there in tattered armor and a thin horse, waiting for him was that traveling monk—who was actually Hojo Tokiyori, the highest authority of the Kamakura Shogunate. Praising Genzaemon's loyalty and his favor of the 'potted trees', Tokiyori restored his former estate and granted him three new estates named 'Plum', 'Pine', and 'Cherry'.
