The most famous description in 'Musashino' is the sound of the wind and the 'rain of falling leaves' that colors the woods from autumn to winter. When the wind blows through the deciduous forests, countless leaves rustle all at once, echoing a mysterious sound that sounds as if real rain were falling. Strolling through the forest while listening to this 'rain of falling leaves' was the supreme pleasure for Doppo.
