夜の闇の底へ駆け下りて行き、行方は誰も知らない

The servant stripped off the old woman's kimono, declared 'It is to prevent my starvation', and ran down into the depths of the night's darkness. The abandoned old woman was left standing naked and utterly dazed. The whereabouts of the servant are known to no one.
