欠点 / 不足

彼(かれ)には、自分(じぶん)に都合(つごう)が悪(わる)くなるとすぐに嘘(うそ)をつくという致命的(ちめいてき)な「欠点」がある。

欠点 (けってん) means "flaw," "defect," "weakness," or "fault." It describes a negative aspect or undesirable characteristic of a person, object, or system. It is used to point out imperfections or areas for improvement. You might say "彼の欠点は忘れっぽいことだ" (His flaw is being forgetful). Example: どんな人にも長所と短所、つまり良い点と欠点があります。 (Everyone has strengths and weaknesses, in other words, good points and flaws.)

欠点は、人や物事の短所や悪い点、不完全な部分を指します。「欠点がある」として使われます。
