A humble expression (kenjougo) used to say you are guessing or imagining someone's situation or feelings with great respect. Often used in contexts of showing consideration, such as 'I imagine you must be very busy.'

相手の事情や心中を、敬意を払って推し量る際に用いる謙譲語。「ご多忙のことと拝察いたします」のように、相手を気遣う文脈で使われる。
