大泥棒の犍陀多(カンダタ)

It happened one day. The Buddha was strolling alone along the edge of the lotus pond of Paradise. Looking down into the bottom of the pond, he saw the depths of Hell with its mountain of needles and pool of blood, and caught sight of Kandata, a notorious thief, panting along with other sinners.
