Humble (Kenjougo) form of 食べる (to eat), 飲む (to drink), and もらう (to receive). Used for one's own actions (or one's in-group) to show respect to the host, giver, or listener. Commonly used before eating as 'いただきます'.

「食べる」「飲む」「もらう」の特別な謙譲語（へりくだった表現）です。自分や身内の動作を下げて相手を高めることで、聞き手や食事を提供してくれた人、贈り物をくれた人へ敬意を表します。食事の前の挨拶「いただきます」もこの言葉から来ています。
