大きな(おおきな)大木(たいぼく)を根こそぎ(ねこそぎ)引き抜いて(ひきぬいて)橋(はし)を作った(つくった)

One day, there was no bridge over the valley river, and the animals were troubled as they couldn't cross. Kintaro pulled a large tree near them out by the roots with both hands, 'Yoisho!', and laid it across the river to make a splendid bridge. The animals were overjoyed.
