根拠

論文で新しい説を主張する際には、その説を裏付ける客観的な（　　）を示す必要がある。

"根拠" (konkyo) refers to the basis or evidence for a claim or judgment. In the context of asserting a theory in a thesis, you need reasons or proof to judge that claim as correct, making "根拠" the most suitable choice. "基盤" (kiban) means foundation or base, "基準" (kijun) means standard or criterion, and "根本" (konpon) means the fundamental root or source; these do not fit the context.

「根拠」は、主張や判断の理由となるもの、よりどころを指す。論文で説を主張する場合、その主張が正しいと判断できる理由や証拠が必要なので、「根拠」が最も適切。「基盤」は物事の基礎、「基準」は判断の尺度、「根本」は物事の最も重要な大元を指し、文脈に合わない。
