加持 (かじ) is an on'yomi compound: 加 (か, add/bestow) and 持 (じ, hold/sustain). In a religious context, particularly esoteric Buddhism, it refers to a blessing, prayer for recovery, or exorcism. かち misreads 持 as ち, and あじ or あち are complete misreadings of the kanji.
