Li Zheng of Longxi, known for his deep erudition and brilliant penmanship, became a government official at a young age. However, dissatisfied with the vulgar bureaucracy, he resigned to leave his name as a poet. Yet earning fame through poetry was not easy, and his life became impoverished. Finally losing his sanity, Li Zheng went mad one night, rushed into the dark forest, and vanished.
