～てもらう (or respectful ～ていただく) indicates receiving a beneficial action from someone. The giver of the action (the teacher) is marked with the particle に.

相手に何かをしてもらい、恩恵を受ける表現「〜てもらう」「〜ていただく」です。動作の送り手（親切をしてくれた人）を「に」で示します（「先生に〜してもらった」）。
