Refers to the distinction between what is true and what is false. Often used in expressions like 虚実入り混じる (kyojitsu irimajiru, truth and falsehood mixed together). (真実と嘘、事実と作り話の区別のこと。「虚実入り混じる」などの形でよく使われる。)
