Describes a state of being confused, embarrassed, or puzzled by an unexpected situation or question. Often used with する (suru) as 当惑する. (予期せぬ状況や質問に対して、困惑したり、恥ずかしく思ったりする状態を表す。「当惑する」と動詞として使うことが多い。)
