Similar to 偏見, but often refers specifically to a belief or opinion formed beforehand, without sufficient evidence, that influences one's judgment. It can be negative or simply a pre-existing idea. While 偏見 often implies a negative judgment, 先入観 can be more neutral, simply meaning a pre-existing idea that *might* be wrong.
