決定的なニュアンスの違い・使い分け
英語の「true」を日本語で表現する際、本当 と 本音 では明確なニュアンスの使い分けが存在します。
本当 は主に「ほんとう (hontou)（N4）」として使われ、Can be used as a noun (本当のこと), a な-adjective (本当の話), or an adverb (本当に美味しい). Often used to express surprise or confirmation.を指します。
一方、本音 は「ほんね (honne)（N3）」として使用され、Refers to one's true feelings, real intentions, private opinions, or real talk, as opposed to 建前 (public face/excuses).
