決定的なニュアンスの違い・使い分け
英語の「true」を日本語で表現する際、実力 と 本音 では明確なニュアンスの使い分けが存在します。
実力 は主に「じつりょく (jitsuryoku)（N3）」として使われ、見かけや評判ではなく、実際に持っている能力や力量を指します。 (Refers to actual ability or capability, not just appearance or reputation.)を指します。
一方、本音 は「ほんね (honne)（N3）」として使用され、Refers to one's true feelings, real intentions, private opinions, or real talk, as opposed to 建前 (public face/excuses).
