英語の「that」を日本語で表現する際、そちら と あちら では明確なニュアンスの使い分けが存在します。
そちら は主に「そちら (sochira)（N5）」として使われ、Polite equivalent of それ (sore) and そこ (soko). Refers to something near the listener. (それ・そこの丁寧な言い方。聞き手の近くにあるものや場所、人を指します。)を指します。
