英語の「see」を日本語で表現する際、ご覧になる と 見通す では明確なニュアンスの使い分けが存在します。
ご覧になる は主に「ごらんになる (goran ni naru)（N3）」として使われ、Sonkeigo (honorific language) for 見る (miru). Used to show respect to the person performing the action of seeing or looking. Often used with ください (kudasai) when making a respectful request.を指します。
