英語の「resident」を日本語で表現する際、住民 と 常駐 では明確なニュアンスの使い分けが存在します。
住民 は主に「じゅうみん (jūmin)（N3）」として使われ、Refers to people living in a particular area, town, or building. Often used in official contexts or news. (特定の地域、町、建物に住んでいる人々を指します。公式な文脈やニュースでよく使われます。)を指します。
