英語の「report」を日本語で表現する際、報告 と 報道 では明確なニュアンスの使い分けが存在します。
報告 は主に「ほうこく (houkoku)（N4）」として使われ、Noun, often used with する (to do) as a suru-verb (報告する). Used in business or formal settings to convey information or results. 「結果を報告する」のように使います。を指します。
