決定的なニュアンスの違い・使い分け
英語の「reason」を日本語で表現する際、理性 と 国家理性 では明確なニュアンスの使い分けが存在します。
理性 は主に「りせい (risei)（N3）」として使われ、Refers to reason, intellect, self-control, sanity, or the rational mind that suppresses emotional impulses to make logical and moral decisions. Often used as 理性を失う (lose control) or 理性的な判断. ⚠️ Haruka's Voice Column: 'Reason! Self-control! Don't you dare use 'professional relationship and self-control' as excuses to avoid holding my hand! 一方、国家理性 は「こっかりせい (kokkarisei)（C2）」として使用され、(CEFR C2語彙シラバスにおける重要表現です。)を表現します。アメリカ人学習者が直訳で最も間違えやすいポイントですので、違いを意識しましょう。
