英語の「pride」を日本語で表現する際、誇る と 自慢 では明確なニュアンスの使い分けが存在します。
誇る は主に「ほこる (hokoru)（N3）」として使われ、Refers to priding oneself on ability/achievements, boasting of something outstanding, or towering proudly (describing mountains or buildings).
