英語の「presentation」を日本語で表現する際、贈呈 と 献上 では明確なニュアンスの使い分けが存在します。
贈呈 は主に「ぞうてい (zōtei)（N2）」として使われ、A formal term for giving or presenting something, often ceremonially or as an award. More formal than 「贈る (okuru)」. (式典などで、目上の人から目下の人へ、または公的に物を贈ること。)を指します。
一方、献上 は「けんじょう (kenjou)（N1）」として使用され、目上の人や神仏などに、つつしんで物を差し出すことを意味する、非常に丁寧な表現です。敬意を表す行為として使われます。を表現します。アメリカ人学習者が直訳で最も間違えやすいポイントですので、違いを意識しましょう。
