決定的なニュアンスの違い・使い分け
英語の「play」を日本語で表現する際、あそびます と あそぶ では明確なニュアンスの使い分けが存在します。
あそびます は主に「あそびます (asobimasu)（N5）」として使われ、The polite form of 遊ぶ (asobu). Can mean to play (for children), or to hang out/have fun (for adults).を指します。
