決定的なニュアンスの違い・使い分け
英語の「one's」を日本語で表現する際、言い分 と 本領 では明確なニュアンスの使い分けが存在します。
言い分 は主に「いいぶん (iibun)（N2）」として使われ、Refers to what someone wants to say, especially in a disagreement or when explaining their position. Can be a complaint or an excuse. (自分の主張や言い訳、意見を意味する)を指します。
一方、本領 は「ほんりょう (honryō)（N1）」として使用され、その人が本来持っている、最も得意とする能力や特性、あるいは真価を発揮できる状況を指します。「本領を発揮する」という形でよく使われます。(Refers to a person's inherent, most proficient ability or characteristic, or a situation where they can demonstrate their true value.
