英語の「often」を日本語で表現する際、往々 と ちょくちょく では明確なニュアンスの使い分けが存在します。
往々 は主に「おうおう (ouou)（N2）」として使われ、Adverb. Indicates that something happens quite often or sometimes, especially in a particular situation or under specific conditions. Slightly more formal than 「時々」 or 「しばしば」, and often used to describe a tendency or a common occurrence.を指します。
