英語の「not」を日本語で表現する際、間に合わない と そんなに では明確なニュアンスの使い分けが存在します。
間に合わない は主に「まにあわない (maniawanai)（N4）」として使われ、The negative form of 間に合う (to be in time). Indicates failure to meet a deadline or catch something. (期限に間に合わない、または乗り物に乗り遅れる際に使われます。)を指します。
一方、そんなに は「そんなに (sonnani)（N3）」として使用され、Often used with negative expressions (そんなに～ない) to mean 'not so much' or 'not that much'. Can also be used positively to emphasize 'so much', but this is less common at the N3 level.を表現します。アメリカ人学習者が直訳で最も間違えやすいポイントですので、違いを意識しましょう。
