英語の「neglect」を日本語で表現する際、放置 と 曠職 では明確なニュアンスの使い分けが存在します。
放置 は主に「ほうち (hōchi)（N3）」として使われ、Refers to neglecting something, leaving it alone/unattended, or abandoning a situation/object without taking proper care.
