英語の「materials」を日本語で表現する際、資料 と 材料 では明確なニュアンスの使い分けが存在します。
資料 は主に「しりょう (shiryō)（N4）」として使われ、Refers to documents, data, or materials used for reference, study, a presentation, or a meeting. Can be physical papers or digital files.を指します。
