英語の「increase」を日本語で表現する際、増える と 増加する では明確なニュアンスの使い分けが存在します。
増える は主に「ふえる (fueru)（N4）」として使われ、Intransitive verb. Something increases by itself. The transitive verb is 増やす (fuyasu). Often describes quantities, numbers, or amounts.を指します。
