英語の「get」を日本語で表現する際、挟まる と 就職する では明確なニュアンスの使い分けが存在します。
挟まる は主に「はさまる (hasamaru)（N3）」として使われ、Refers to objects physically getting caught or sandwiched between two surfaces, or people getting caught in awkward positions between two factions. Intransitive verb. Opposing word: 挟む. Often used as 隙間に挟まる or 板挟みになる. ⚠️ Haruka's Voice Column: 'To get caught between! 一方、就職する は「しゅうしょくする (shūshoku suru)（N3）」として使用され、To start working for a company or organization after completing studies or being unemployed. Often used by students graduating from university. (学校を卒業したり、失業状態から会社や組織で働き始めることを言います。大学生の卒業時によく使われます。)を表現します。アメリカ人学習者が直訳で最も間違えやすいポイントですので、違いを意識しましょう。
