英語の「general」を日本語で表現する際、統括 と 概況 では明確なニュアンスの使い分けが存在します。
統括 は主に「とうかつ (tōkatsu)（N2）」として使われ、Implies overseeing and consolidating multiple parts into a whole, often in management or project contexts. (例: 全体を統括する)を指します。
