英語の「first」を日本語で表現する際、初めて と まず では明確なニュアンスの使い分けが存在します。
初めて は主に「はじめて (hajimete)（N4）」として使われ、Adverb. Used to describe an action or event occurring for the very first time in one's experience or in history.を指します。
