英語の「finish」を日本語で表現する際、仕上がり と 〜終わる では明確なニュアンスの使い分けが存在します。
仕上がり は主に「しあがり (shiagari)（N3）」として使われ、Refers to the final state or quality of something after it has been completed. Often used for products, clothes, or tasks.を指します。
一方、〜終わる は「〜おわる (owaru)（N3）」として使用され、Indicates the completion or end of an action or event. It is attached to the masu-stem (連用形) of a verb. (例：食べ終わる)を表現します。アメリカ人学習者が直訳で最も間違えやすいポイントですので、違いを意識しましょう。
