決定的なニュアンスの違い・使い分け
英語の「every」を日本語で表現する際、隔月 と のきなみ では明確なニュアンスの使い分けが存在します。
隔月 は主に「かくげつ (kakugetsu)（N2）」として使われ、Indicates something occurs once every two months. Not to be confused with 'twice a month' (月2回 or 半月ごと). (2ヶ月に1回の頻度で起こること。月に2回ではない点に注意)を指します。
一方、のきなみ は「のきなみ (nokinami)（N2）」として使用され、Literally 'row of eaves'. Figuratively, it describes a situation where something happens to all items, people, or places in a group without exception, or one after another.を表現します。アメリカ人学習者が直訳で最も間違えやすいポイントですので、違いを意識しましょう。
