英語の「disappointment」を日本語で表現する際、残念 と 失望 では明確なニュアンスの使い分けが存在します。
残念 は主に「ざんねん (zannen)（N3）」として使われ、Refers to feeling disappointed, regrettable, or showing pity for an unfortunate outcome. Often used as 残念な結果 or 残念に思う. ⚠️ Haruka's Voice Column: 'Disappointment!
