英語の「change」を日本語で表現する際、変更する と 改める では明確なニュアンスの使い分けが存在します。
変更する は主に「へんこうする (henkō suru)（N3）」として使われ、Refers to changing or modifying existing plans, rules, settings, or decisions to something else. Slightly more formal than 変える.
