決定的なニュアンスの違い・使い分け
英語の「be」を日本語で表現する際、遅れる と 詰まる では明確なニュアンスの使い分けが存在します。
遅れる は主に「おくれる (okureru)（N4）」として使われ、Intransitive verb. Used when a person or thing is behind schedule or arrives after the set time. Can also describe a delay in progress.を指します。
一方、詰まる は「つまる (tsumaru)（N3）」として使用され、Refers to pipes/noses being blocked, schedules/seats being fully packed, or breath being choked due to tension. Intransitive verb. Opposing word: 詰める.
