決定的なニュアンスの違い・使い分け
英語の「be」を日本語で表現する際、詰まる と 欠ける では明確なニュアンスの使い分けが存在します。
詰まる は主に「つまる (tsumaru)（N3）」として使われ、Refers to pipes/noses being blocked, schedules/seats being fully packed, or breath being choked due to tension. Intransitive verb. Opposing word: 詰める. 一方、欠ける は「かける (kakeru)（N3）」として使用され、Intransitive verb. Indicates that a part of something is gone, missing, or that something is incomplete.を表現します。アメリカ人学習者が直訳で最も間違えやすいポイントですので、違いを意識しましょう。
