決定的なニュアンスの違い・使い分け
英語の「be」を日本語で表現する際、焼ける と 思い込む では明確なニュアンスの使い分けが存在します。
焼ける は主に「やける (yakeru)（N3）」として使われ、Refers to food being fully baked/grilled, houses burning down, skin getting sunburned, or abstractly being jealous (ヤキモチが焼ける). Intransitive verb. Opposing word: 凍る. 一方、思い込む は「おもいこむ (omoikomu)（N3）」として使用され、To firmly believe something, often mistakenly, or to become deeply convinced of a belief. It implies a strong, sometimes incorrect, conviction.を表現します。アメリカ人学習者が直訳で最も間違えやすいポイントですので、違いを意識しましょう。
