日本語には、よみがなが同じ「あてる (ateru)」であっても、使う漢字によって意味が全く異なる「同音異義語」が多数存在します。

- 宛てる: 「to address (a letter/email), to send (to a specific person/place)」を表現し、Specifically used for directing mail, messages, or other items to a recipient. Often seen in the form 「〜に宛てて」 or 「〜宛ての」.に対して使われます。
